Lake 1-2-3-4 – The Show

by Bill

Late in the summer with a few warm sunny days hanging around we head down the Fernberg road to Lake 1.  The sun was shining down on us as we talk a little bit about orienteering as we paddle through Lakes 1, 2, 3 and to the edge of 4 where we stop for lunch.  It was a very nice day to be out on the water.  Its a beautiful trip to take late in the year.

Gotta say, I love the amount of different scenery & wildlife in this video. Its make it really interesting. We love nature, the animals and the clean water and we hug the trees. Great show Bill.

Took my buddy and his two boys on this trip in ’08 and except for a bad roll of the dice on campsites we had a great time. Imagine 20 year old boys trying to trap a ground squirrel under a frying pan with dill pickle flavored sunflower seeds! Great beginner trip. Thanks Bill!

Hey Bill! I’ve been a big fan of BWCAcast.com for a while now and it’s nice to come back and watch this video. I’m sure the area looks so different now after the Pagami Creek fire.

Have you thought about making a video of this area to show the difference?

Brent Robertson » I’ve been thinking about doing this however I don’t know if this area of the BWCAW has been opened back up by the Forest Service. I will check into it and will shoot a new show if possible. Thanks for commenting and watching. I hope you are having a nice spring.

    Bill
