Stewart River

The Stewart River entry point starts you out with over a 400 rod portage.  This will get your blood pumping just in time to start your paddle up the river.  We are paddling under sunny skies with a nice breeze.  Canoeing in the BWCA doesn’t get much better. About Bill

I grew up in Alaska spending as much time outdoors as possible. Camping, hunting, and flying consumed much of my free time. Upon moving to Minnesota I found the BWCAW to be a place that allowed me to escape to the wilderness. I love being able to share this amazing place with all of you. I hope you enjoy the shows.

    Bill,

Just a short note to let you know how much I enjoy BWCAcast podcasts. Years ago I paddled the eastern Boundary Waters (several times) and my memories are still vivid. Your videos take me back to that time. Now I’ve recently retired – had both knees replaced about a year ago – and would like to give it another try. My canoe is a bit heavy (for my new knees) but I’ll try paddling around the Madison WI area this Spring. If all goes well, I’d like to revisit the BWCA.

    Thank again for the videos!

    Karl
