Stewart River to Boulder Bay

by Bill

The sun is shining on a hot day in August.  The wind gently cools us off as we paddle north on the Stewart River.  The Stewart River is a winding river littered with dinner plate sized lilly pads and portages thick with foliage.  We make our way on through Stewart Lake and into Boulder Bay.  As we reach our camp site after a beautiful day of paddling the clouds roll in showering us with an evening burst of rain.

    Hi Bill,

Really enjoyed the show, as usual.

Some amazing scenery and perfect weather for that trip. As you said the long portage at the start was well worth the effort.

    Thanks Bill,
We went up that way in the first week in August last year and your videos took me right back. We had some great weather but the bugs were murder on the portages. Never seen it like that in August. Guess the late summer rains got the mosquitoes hatching again. We spent 2 nights on Stuart Lake and 2 nights on Boulder Bay. Looks like you stopped at the same site we did on Boulder Bay.
Sure do enjoy your site…especially on a cold winter night like this. Please keep it up.

Amazing, Bill……just amazing! The scenery alone is spectacular but your outstanding filming and editing skills made watching this video a memorable experience! Thanks again for sharing all your fun times and hard work. Looking forward to more!
