About Bill

I grew up in Alaska spending as much time outdoors as possible. Camping, hunting, and flying consumed much of my free time. Upon moving to Minnesota I found the BWCAW to be a place that allowed me to escape to the wilderness. I love being able to share this amazing place with all of you. I hope you enjoy the shows.

Great post Bill! Loved the map at the beginning showing where you guys were heading. Really enjoyed the way you showed us the campsite and talked a little about the Hennnessey Hammock and the cool little silverware contraption that wraps around the tree. Nice to see all the guys at the end of the video. That’s fun that you ran into someone who watches the program. Very cool!

    Keep up the great work!

Just found your website the other day. Great job! I enjoy the videos – makes me nostalgic. Looking forward towards another trip – if this winter ever ends. This weekend I’ll be going to Canoecopia (Madison, WI) for my annual paddling kick start. Great way to get Spring fever.

Thanks for the effort you’ve made on this website. Being that I’m newly retired, I hope to be paddling more often.
