Hey Alan,

Thanks for commenting. Its really nice to hear from people who watch the show. I am very fortunate to paddle with my wife who happens to be very laid back.

We have been throwing around ideas on how to set up a campsite rating system on our site. We’ll definitely start showing them off a little more this year talking about the advantages and disadvantages of the sites we stay at. Thanks for the tip.

We have a full summer of trips. We hope to have another successful season of shows.

Love the show. I have paddled this route twice. You missed some great blueberry foraging on the lookout rock. But then that’s typical for almost any rocky area in the BWCA. I am also impressed that the lovely lady behind you didn’t tell you to shut and start paddling. She shows great restraint! You ought to make it a policy to video many of the campsites and rate them like the BWJ.

Thanks for commenting!! Sorry if I misspoke about the Moose River. We really should have stopped at the hill to take a hike. Would have been a great day to get some spectacular views from the top. Still have a few shows yet to edit and publish from last summer. We are also looking into a winter trip or two. Glad you enjoyed the show.

I also enjoyed your film clips, music is perfect. You have probably heard the Nina Moose River you were referring to was actually the Moose River, (Nina Moose starts north of Nina Moose Lake). That giant rock hill you mentioned of along the river has a safe hiking trail to its peak. The views of the meandering Moose River, Nina Moose Lake and surrounding hills from this summit is awesome. I hope you keep doing this, much enjoyed.

Portaging looks like a good combination of fun and exercise, which for me will be great to stave off the leg cramps! I’ll definitely make it out to N. Minnesota and the BWCA at some point…..can’t wait!

Another nice show Bill. It’s interesting seeing the packing process from one lake to the next. You make the portaging with the canoe look pretty easy. Something tells me those canoes are heavier than you make them look:)
